Food & Beverage Director is reporting to General Manager. She/He will oversee the entire restaurant and bar department and ensure its smooth running.

As a Food and Beverage Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring an exceptional culinary experience for our customers. An essential part of your role will be to closely collaborate with our exclusive partner for the Strand, ensuring perfect synergy and adherence to the quality standards that set us apart.

Main responsibilities

  • Efficiently and effectively manage the daily operations of the hotel's restaurant, bar, in room dining and events.
  • Supervise and coordinate staff to ensure exceptional customer service and a top-notch dining experience according to Arev brand identity standards.
  • Work closely with our exclusive partner to develop unique and innovative offerings while ensuring consistency in the customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with our external partners to optimize resources and continuously improve our services.
  • Train and supervise restaurant staff to ensure high-level service.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase the profitability of the restaurant and bars.
  • Manage purchasing and ordering by collaborating with suppliers to ensure a supply of quality products.
  • Manage and set up F&B events (organization, scheduling, promotion…)
  • Control costs, manage budgets, and ensure financial profitability of the food and beverage department.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations according to local regulations and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on market trends and developments in the hospitality and restaurant industry to propose constant innovative ideas and improvements.

Required experience:

  • Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or Restaurant Manager within the hospitality and restaurant industry.
  • Saint Tropez and/or Côte d’Azur environment knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in seasonal hotel and/or restaurant needed
  • Destination restaurant experience is a must
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on attention to detail and operational excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations, as well as local restaurant regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively solve problems.
